The Diamond-Like Carbon Coating is a relatively new and highly desired coating for BCG’s. DLC has a very low coefficient of friction, is self-lubricating in dry conditions, extremely resistant to wear, highly resistant to corrosion, and one of the hardest coatings at 90 Rockwell. DLC is tough, hence the Diamond-like name, it features additional lubricity over Nickel Boron, and carbon fouling wipes right off with a dry patch.
